China thanks Azerbaijan for support

Lijian Zhao, Deputy Director-General of the Chinese Foreign Ministry's Information Department, has thanked the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his support, Report says citing the Twitter page of the Foreign Ministry.

"We sincerely thank the support from the world leaders: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan expressed solidarity with the Chinese people and readiness to provide all necessary assistance."

Earlier, the Azerbaijani President offered his condolences to the Chinese President.
