Baku. 28 July. REPORT.AZ/ A conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the “Dostlug” (Friendship) project was held in Baku.
Report informs, at the beginning a video about the activities of the organization was shown. Speaking at the event, Charge d'Affaires of Norway in Azerbaijan Vegard Stensrud said that the Dostlug project had become one of the most successful in the country. According to him, an indicator of the success of the project is that partners from Ukraine joined the project.
Then participants and leaders of the project told about the role the project played in their life, what skills and abilities they acquired through international cooperation, and how it helped them to become successful in their studies and careers.
At the end of the conference, the project leaders talked about the future plans. In 2019-2020 years. within the framework of the project, international winter and summer youth camps will be organized to train young people living in nature and further strengthening friendship between the peoples of the three countries.
Notably, the aim of the project is cooperation between Azerbaijani and Norwegian children and youth, improving knowledge on the protection of the environment and life in nature, increasing the interest of young people in outdoor sports activities.
