Binali Yıldırım: No matter what they say, Nizami Ganjavi is Turk

Baku. 14 March. REPORT.AZ/ "No matter what they say, Nizami Ganjavi is Azerbaijani Turk."

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Parliament Chairman Ogtay Asadov in Milli Majlis.

"Nizami Ganjavi is Azerbaijani Turk and was born in Ganja. I welcome the organization of an international event on behalf of such a genius. Therefore, I wanted to participate in this event," he said.

Notably, Yıldırım has come to Azerbaijan to participate in the 6th Global Baku Forum. The forum is supported by the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and organized by Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
