Today, a group of Azerbaijanis will be evacuated from the Turkish city of Adana to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara.

The bus with the evacuees will leave for Azerbaijan from the Adana bus station today at 17:00 local time (GMT+03:00).

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 shook Turkiye’s Kahramanmaras province on February 6. The tremors, followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt in 10 provinces of the country, as well as in neighboring states, including Syria.

A state of emergency has been declared in 10 provinces of Turkiye for three months.

The country has also declared seven days of mourning in memory of the dead.
