Azerbaijani, Tajik FMs hold phone call

On May 9, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov had a phone conversation with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

The ministers extended their congratulations on the holy month of Ramadan, as well as the 75th anniversary of the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War, Report says.

The sides exchanged views on the steps taken by the states to combat the global health crisis and the importance of cooperation in this regard.

The officials mulled the topical issues of the cooperation between the two brotherly countries, the expansion of the economic partnership, including in the field of transport and logistics.

Moreover, the sides touched upon the cooperation within international organizations and agreed to expand it further.
