Azerbaijani Speaker blames Armenia for hindering regional stability

Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Sahiba Gafarova at a meeting with Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski discussed wide-ranging cooperation issues between the two countries, Report says, citing the parliamentary press service.

Noting that Poland is a friendly country for Azerbaijan, the Speaker said that the two countries have established extensive cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres. She stressed the importance of mutual visits of the presidents and government officials and documents signed between the parties for deepening relations between the countries and the peoples.

For his part, Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski noted that his country attaches great importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan. He said that the multifacted relations between Azerbaijan and Poland have a solid foundation. The ambassador added that the positive dialogue in the political sphere created good opportunities for cooperation in the economic and humanitarian sectors, adding that he would try to contribute to the further development of relations between the friendly countries during his diplomatic career in Azerbaijan.
