Azerbaijani representative elected member of Board at International Anti-Corruption Academy

The next meeting within the 10th session of the member states of the International Anti-Corruption Academy, of which Azerbaijan is a member, was held at the UN headquarters in Vienna, Austria, on October 27, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office told Report.

At the 10th session, important decisions were made on the management of the intergovernmental organization, including the election of the Board of Directors.

Elnur Musayev, head of the Office for Non-Prosecution Proceedings of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, State Counselor of Justice III degree, has been nominated from the European Region.

The candidates made platform presentations on the development and enhancement of the reputation of the International Anti-Corruption Academy in the coming years.

Then, Musayev was elected a member of the Board of the European Region by a majority of votes in a highly competitive election.

Elnur Musayev was conferred the highest special rank of State Counselor of Justice III degree by order of President Ilham Aliyev, dated September 30, 2021.
