Azerbaijani FM: Our cooperation within framework of UNESCO will be effective

Today's event is important for the discussion of cooperation issues between the countries, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his video speech at the opening ceremony of the 9th meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the TURKSOY Member States co-organized by Azerbaijan's National Commission for UNESCO under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), ADA University and the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) of the University, Report informs.

The minister said that close relations of brotherhood and friendship between the states are connected with the common roots, traditions, language, religion, and many holy monuments.

Stating that Azerbaijan always supports the mission of UNESCO, FM said that its national commission for UNESCO worked in a joint form in all research works.

According to him, Azerbaijan has a very important place in the world in terms of intercultural unity:

"Our country constantly cooperates with UNESCO in terms of education, culture, and other fields."
