Azerbaijani FM commented on refusal to issue a visa to a German deputy

Baku. 21 August. REPORT.AZ/ "The deputy of the German Bundestag Albert Weiler was included in the list of undesirable persons for illegally visiting the occupied lands of Azerbaijan some time ago."

Report was told by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, commenting on the information of the newspaper Bild on refusal to issue a visa to a German deputy by Azerbaijan.

"This MP illegally visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.And in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was included in the list of "non grata persons".Respect for the laws of the country and its territorial integrity is compulsory.Our position is constructive. And practice shows that in case of apology for disrespect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, these persons can be excluded from the above list”, - Hajiyev said.
