Azerbaijani, Estonian envoys in Georgia discuss regional issues

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev has met with his Estonian counterpart Riina Kaljurand, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.

At the meeting, Faig Guliyev provided detailed information about the Azerbaijani-Georgian strategic partnership, which serves the welfare of both nations and is the main driving factor ensuring sustainable development in the entire South Caucasus. During the conversation, the ambassadors assessed the commissioning of the Southern Gas Corridor as another important contribution to ensuring the energy security of Europe.

Riina Kaljurand noted that Estonia pays attention to the development of relations with the South Caucasus countries. According to her, Estonia is closely following the current processes in the region and the emerging new picture and intends to develop regional cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope for the continuation of fruitful contacts in the future.
