Azerbaijani Embassy in Colombia distributes gifts to those in need

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Colombia has donated gifts to needy residents of Bogota's San Rafael district , on the occasion of Christmas, organized by the Acoexar Foundation of this country, Report mentions, referring to Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.

Speaking at the event, the First Secretary of the Embassy Elnur Iskandarov first congratulated the participants on Christmas and the upcoming New Year and spoke about the traditional and friendly relations between the two countries.

The Azerbaijani diplomat also informed the citizens about our country, noting that despite the challenging year of 2020, this year will remain in the memory of our people as a year of the great victory in connection with the liberation of lands held under Armenian occupation for nearly 30 years.

During the event, the residents expressed their deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani government and praised the attention paid to them.
