Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister meets with Peru's FM

Peru's Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo met with Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, who was visiting the country on September 3-4, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Elmer Schialer Salcedo expressed his country's interest in developing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan and stated that the first political consultations would give impetus to expanding relations in various fields.

On September 4, the first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan and Peru was held in Lima.
