Azerbaijani delegation to observe parliamentary elections in Maldives

A delegation of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan will observe the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Maldives.

Report informs, citing the press service of the Central Election Commission that the delegation led by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Mazahir Panahov, headed to the capital of the republic, Male, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Election Commission of the Republic of Maldives, Fuwad Towfik, to observe the upcoming parliamentary elections on April 21.

Representatives of the Central Election Commission will familiarize themselves with the process of preparation for the parliamentary elections and observe the progress of voting at polling stations.

As part of the visit, Mazahir Panahov is expected to meet with his Maldivian counterpart, as well as heads of organizations participating in the election monitoring.
