Azerbaijan's foreign minister meets with deputy prime minister of Belarus

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrichenko, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku Summit of Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in response to COVID-19.

Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, that the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The sides stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, sports and youth work, as well as between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

The deputy prime minister of Belarus expressed satisfaction with the support provided by Azerbaijan to the Republic of Belarus within the framework of international organizations.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
