Azerbaijan may chair CICA in 2024-2026

Azerbaijan can be the chairman of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in 2024–2026, Report informs.

The Committee of High Officials of the organization recommended that the Council of Ministers make a decision regarding Azerbaijan's chairmanship at its next meeting.

Within the meeting, the ground has been prepared for the quintessence of the charter and the culmination of the transformation process. The meeting participants discussed new directions of cooperation within the framework of the organization.

In addition, the committee approved the draft Memorandum on the establishment of a partnership network of leading universities in CICA member states.
