Arab League will discuss strengthening of relations with Azerbaijan

Baku. 5 March. REPORT.AZ/ The 149th session of the Council of the League of Arab States (LAS) at the level of the Permanent Representatives at the headquarters of the General Secretariat was launched in Egypt's Cairo.

The main agenda of the meeting, including the speech of the Secretary General is the preparation of a session of the Council of Arab League at ministerial level.

Within the framework of the session, it is planned to discuss the Palestinian problem, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the promotion of Arab peace initiative, as well situation in Syria, Libya and Yemen, also in Sudan and Somalia, the situation around refugees, and etc.

It is planned to discuss the development of Arab-African, Arab-European relations, the holding of Arab-Russian forum, the strengthening of cooperation with Azerbaijan and Central Asia, as well as China, India and Japan.
