Anar Alakbarov meets with Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of China

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Ma Zhaoxu, Report informs.

During the meeting, Ma Zhaoxu stressed that bilateral relations between the two countries, the foundations of which were laid by great leader Heydar Aliyev, are currently developing in all areas and have reached the level of strategic partnership.

According to the deputy foreign minister, the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Chinese leaders within the framework of the latest summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is very important for determining the prospects for further cooperation.

In addition, the importance of humanitarian and cultural projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in China, as well as cooperation between the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the activities of the embassies of both countries to expand ties between the two countries was emphasized.

Ma Zhaoxu added that China supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

In turn, Anar Alakbarov noted that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has always supported and strived to develop relations with the People's Republic of China.

The meeting also provided information on the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, large-scale restoration work carried out in the liberated territories, as well as the availability of opportunities for Chinese investors and companies in regional projects in Azerbaijan.
