Ambassador: Elements of Brazilian culture widely known in Azerbaijan

Elements of Brazilian culture are widely known in Azerbaijan as well, Brazil’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz told journalists at the 11th International Festival at ADA University, Report informs.

He noted that Brazilian martial arts such as jiu-jitsu and capoeira are actively developing in Azerbaijan: “A lot of children and adults study these sports, which is good news.”

The ambassador also noted that today the festival will demonstrate dishes of the national cuisine of Brazil, and it will also be possible to watch the capoeira fight live: “We are very pleased to be at the ADA University today. Participation in events of this kind is always a positive experience.”
