Afghan Foreign Ministry: Kabul supports Azerbaijan's position on Karabakh

"Relations between Afghanistan and Azerbaijan are at a perfect level," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan told Report.

"Moreover, Afghanistan supports the position of Azerbaijan concerning the Karabakh conflict."

Afghanistan Foreign Ministry reminded that by the time the Lapis Lazuli Road was operationalized, many cooperation opportunities would be created between them.

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan held the first trilateral meeting regarding transport, transit, and communication on 27th July 2020. The primary purpose of the meeting was to facilitate the transfer and transportation of commercial goods and consignments.

On the 25th June this year, the Republic of Azerbaijan provided Afghanistan with 22.76 tons of medical supplies for fighting the coronavirus.
