About 2,800 Ukrainian citizens arrive in Azerbaijan in 15 days

“At present, about 6,800 Ukrainian citizens live in Azerbaijan. About 2,800 of them have entered the country in the last 15 days,” the head of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov said, Report informs.

According to Huseynov, these people entered Azerbaijan both independently and within the evacuation process.

“As for asylum appeals, I can say that Ukrainian citizens can stay in Azerbaijan for up to 90 days. It is legal for them to stay in Azerbaijan during that period. We have not yet received many asylum applications,” he added.
