Baku. 12 November. REPORT.AZ/ Polish striker Robert Lewandowski fell to the ground but escaped unhurt after a firework, thrown by home supporters, landed near the striker at 2018 World Cup qualifier with Romania.

Report informs, in the 54th minute of the match, fans threw flares and firecrackers on to the pitch.

Lewandowski fell to the ground but escaped unhurt after a firework, thrown by home supporters, landed near the striker. The referee temporarily stopped the match and Lewandowski returned to the game several minutes later.

Notably, Poland win 3-0 over Romania in a World Cup qualifier. Robert Lewandowski netted twice.
