Vagif Sadigov: Liquidation of Azerbaijan Premier League is one option

"There are constant discussions about the fate of the championship. We should always take the situation into account. We know that the Professional football League is working on various options. The recent decision will be regulated by the decisions of the Operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers. Their decisions are important, so we are in a position of expectation."

Vagif Sadigov, Chairman of AFFA Coaches Committee, Vagif Sadigov, told Report commenting on the fate of the Azerbaijani Premier League.

According to Sadigov, the clubs are also making efforts to get out of this situation.

The Vice-President commented on the possibility of premature cancellation of the season: "This is one of the options. Let's not forget that the decision to start training and championship was made together by AFFA, PFL, and clubs. I think if there is a need to eliminate the championship, these structures should meet again and hold discussions."
