UEFA announces revenues and expenditures in 2015-2016 season

Baku. 5 April. REPORT.AZ/ In the 2015-2016 season, UEFA's revenues made 4.58 bln EUR, while expenses amounted to 3.31 bln EUR.

Report informs, financial report of the European Football Union says. Thus, net profit was 1.27 bln EUR.

2.16 bln EUR was income from broadcasting, 928 mln EUR from commercial rights, 286.5 mln EUR from ticket sales, 142.4 mln EUR from hospitality service. Revenue from other sources made 37.2 mln EUR.

UEFA earned 2 times less 2,099 bln EUR in the 2014-2015 season. The increase in revenues is due to the European Championship in 2016.

UEFA has paid 2.27 bln EUR (slightly more than income) to participants of competition 2015-2016 season.

537.7 mln EUR spent on holding tournaments.

The expenditures in 2014-2015 season was 1.98 bln EUR.
