Silver and bronze medals of Azerbaijan Premier League will be sent to Gabala

Baku. 19 April. REPORT.AZ/ Bronze and silver medalists of the Azerbaijan Premier League in 2016/2017 season may be awarded in Gabala.

Director of the Professional Football League (PFL) Malik Hasanov told Report.

He said that it is possible to present silver medals to the host team, bronze to the visiting at the end of Gabala - Inter match of XXVIII round on April 23, if the host team losses 0:3 or 1:3 with 2 goals difference: "The medals for the 2nd and 3rd places of 2016/2017 season will be sent to Gabala. However, the PFL staff to leave for the city is unknown yet. Everything depends on the results. If proper score records, Gabala FC will be presented silver medals, Inter bronze".

Notably, Gabala currently ranks 2nd with 49 points, Inter 3rd with 43 points. However, Gabala FC ended first round with Inter in a goalless draw, while finished latest two away matches 1:1 and won its rival with 2 unanswered goals.
