Qarabag will hold friendly match against Beşiktaş in winter

Baku. 24 November. REPORT.AZ/ Friendly match will be held between Qarabag and Turkish Beşiktaş football teams.

Report informs citing the Habertürk, an agreement was reached during the visit of the head coach of "black eagles" Şenol Güneş to Baku.

The game will be arranged in winter if no problems arise.

In addition, Qarabag officials will be sent to Istanbul in the near future and will be informed about Beşiktaş club and team system.

Azerbaijan's Aghdam team coach Gurban Gurbanov said at a meeting with his colleague: "Fantastic game of the Muslim and fraternal team in the Champions League gave happiness to the whole Azerbaijani people. Everyone talks about you. As a club, and as a head coach, we take and will take an example from you. We were proud of the success of the Turkish head coach. We express our gratitude to you. Choosing Beşiktaş as fraternal club, we will follow its path. I believe that in future we will achieve success as you”.

In his turn, Ş. Güneş said that Qarabag is on the right track: "You have achieved quite a lot of success for the country where football is developing. The Champions League requires patience. We, too, have reached the current level in a similar way. Last year we returned from one step of the 1/8 finals. As a Turk, we are proud of the fact that fraternal Azerbaijan has built such a team. We are ready to provide any help we can. I'm sure you will achieve a good level by working with plan and program”.

Notably, at the meeting Ş. Güneş handed Pepe’s uniform signed by the whole team to G. Gurbanov. 

G. Gurbanov presented a form of Qarabag FC to colleague with an inscription of the name of Turkish specialist.

Ş. Güneş and Beşiktaş director of football operations Ali Naibi also watched Qarabag-Chelsea match in V tour of the Champions League group stage.
