Qarabag FC signs a Norwegian forward

Baku. 9 February. REPORT.AZ/ "Qarabag" FC can transfer Norwegian player Muhamed Keita. 

Report informs referring to Metro, “Qarabag" made an attractive offer to 27-year-old forward.

The player with Gambian origin rejected transfer to US club “Minnesota”. As result, American club signed Bashkim Kadrii from Danish “Copenhagen”.

In his interview to VG newspaper Keita told that he had agreed transfer terms with another club. The player is reportedly signed contract worth 200 EUR. The experienced player has contract with Polish club “Lech” until end of June. But he told that he wouldn’t return to “Lech”. After a record fine by his club, Keita was told to find a new club.

Notably, Muhamed Keita played for Norwegian national U-18, U-21 and U-23 teams. In 2008 he signed contract with Norwegian “Strømsgodset”, in 2014 with Polish “Lech”. Last 3 years he spent on loan in “Stabæk” and “Strømsgodset”.
