Tickets for 2019 UEFA Europa League Final purchased by more than 100 nationals

The final match of the UEFA Europa League, which will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium, will be significant for Azerbaijan in terms of great interest shown by citizens of foreign countries.

Report informs citing the official website of AFFA, 21,500 tickets put up for sale online by UEFA were purchased by more than 100 foreign nationals.

It does not include 12,000 + 4,000 (6 thousand tickets allocated for each finalist and two thousand more tickets can be added for each of the teams at the end of the final match) for teams that will make their way to the finals.

Moreover, more than 3,000 tickets for UEFA partners and sponsors have been obtained by non-citizens of Azerbaijan.

The final of the Europa League will take place on May 29.
