Neftchi's fan group not allowed to enter home stadium of Besiktas

The fan group of FC Neftchi - Men in Black - was not allowed to enter the Besiktas home stadium in Istanbul because of an image of a masked fan holding flares in his hands on the T-shirts.

According to Report, some fans could enter the stadium but they were still unable to bring the banner of the fan movement into the arena.

Representatives of FC Besiktas tried to help members of the fan movement from Baku, but UEFA representatives were adamant as they regarded the image as a hooligan symbol.

Despite that, the fans of both clubs demonstrated unity and mutual respect during the return match of the third round of the Conference League qualification. About 700 of Neftchi's loyal fans came to the stadium that night to support their team.
