"Neftchi" club warns those who decided to drag its name in mud

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ "Recently mass media have been spreading information which undermines our club's public reputation and it is inaccurate. The spread of such prejudiced messages at a time when the level of the game and the results of our team are improving made us once again demonstrate our position”.

Report informs, statement issued by Neftchi FC said.

Official statement notes that now Neftchi is experiencing the best period in recent years both inside the club and with the fans: "As a real team, we teamed up and fight for a single goal. There is a unity both between the leadership of the club and the head coach, and between the players. At such a time, we categorically condemn such reports aimed at smearing Neftchi and violating the atmosphere inside the club”.

"Neftchi" FC officially declares that it stands for the punishment of any person who deals in dirty business in Azerbaijani football and supports the actions of law enforcement bodies in this direction. The club asks media representatives to be attentive and respect the name of the most titled club in the country. Also, the club appeals to its fans, not to believe in unproven information”.
