Military message from Burak Yilmaz: “We will die as one, resurrect as thousand”

"I don't want to talk about the game. We are very sad today. Our soldiers were martyred as a result of the treacherous attack”.

After the victory against Alanyaspor FC within Super League XXIV Besiktas FC player Burak Yilmaz spoke about the soldiers killed as a result of air strikes on Turkish forces in Idlib province of Syria.

The 35-year-old striker said they were ready to provide financial and moral support to the government and families of martyrs: “We are ready to do whatever our state wants. We are with them, both financially and spiritually. Enemies must keep in mind that our country is always united against such betrayals. The tribune had a banner “We will die as one, resurrect as thousand. We are always as one”.

Burak Yilmaz scored both goals for Besiktas yesterday. The experienced forward scored on the 70th and 87th minutes.

Notably, as a result of the attack in Idlib, 34 Turkish soldiers were killed.
