Member of Azerbaijani Parliament elected federation president

Baku. 23 December. REPORT.AZ/ New President of Children and Youth Football Federation (CYFF) was elected today at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. 

Spokesperson of the ministry Samaya Mammadova told Report, Minister Azad Rahimov, Deputy Minister Ismayil Ismayilov, Head of Sports Department Farid Mansurov, Member of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) and First Vice-President of AFFA Rauf Aliyev, AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov have attended the election.

Talking about importance of development of children football, A.Rahimov told that there is big interest to this sport among children and youth in the country. That’s why development of children football is important.

Then Milli Majlis lawmaker Rauf Aliyev was elected the President of CYFF. He replaced Mirkamil Rahimov, who recently died.
