Leipzig wants around €75 million for Xavi Simons

Xavi Simons' plans for a potential summer transfer have become quite real — this was announced a few weeks ago, Report informs via Tribuna.

Premier League clubs are already informed, as England currently seems to be the most likely destination for the player. The price being discussed is around 75 million euros. Xavi dreams of one day playing for Barcelona, but this summer, that seems unlikely.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder from the Netherlands national team was bought by the German club this winter after spending a season and a half on loan at RB Leipzig.

However, as was stated, even during this deal, the Germans bought the player with the intention of selling him in the summer for a higher amount. This season, Simons has played 29 matches for the club, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists.

The Transfermarkt portal values him at 70 million euros.
