French journalist insults Turkey's Galatasaray

French journalist Romain Canuti insulted Turkish football club Galatasaray, Report informs.

The incident occurred before Marseille - Galatasaray match, to be held in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League group stage.

Romain Canuti shared a photo of himself on top of the statue of the lion, the symbol of the "yellow-reds," and captioned it as "I tamed the lion."

Turkish fans protested against the journalist's behavior.

The Galatasaray - Marseille match will start today at 21:45 (GMT +4).
