Former striker of "Karabakh" FC called invited to Swedish team for first time

Baku. 12 June. REPORT.AZ/ Karabakh’s former player Samuel Armenteros has been invited to the Swedish national team. Report informs, 27-year-old striker was called up for the friendly match against Norway on March 13.

If Armenteros plays in "Ullevaal" stadium in Oslo he will make a debut in main national team.

After the 2: 1 victory over France as part of 2018 World Cup qualifying round many players were resting. Instead, coach Jan Andersson has decided to test a few players.

He also sent an invitation to the experienced striker of "Herakles" of The Netherlands.

Notably, Samuel Armenteros played in Karabakh in the 2015-2016 season and scored 7 goals in 23 games.

The Norwegian national team was in the same group with Azerbaijani team in the qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup.
