Former manager of “Khazar-Lankaran” seeks court protection

Baku. 3 January. REPORT.AZ/ Former head coach of “Khazar-Lankaran” football club Mustafa Denizli filed a lawsuit.

Report informs referring to Milliyet, the reason is threats to 67-year-old specialist by family of his ex-wife.

After divorce of the pair in September, Evin Elçi’s brother and father came to Denizli’s home. Her brother demanded 5 mln TL as a compensation for divorce: “They came to my home and threatened me. “We will shoot your head. We will kill not only you, but all your family”, they told. I suffer from psychological disorder after the incident. It is impossible to express the fear I feel. I fainted after the incident. I faced the death. I want those people to be punished”.

The incident was investigated after M.Denizli’s complaints. Mustafa Denizli and Evin Elçi lived together for 6 years.

Notably, Turkish football specialists signed contract with “Khazar Lenkaran” in November 2013. But his contract was terminated at the end of that season.
