ESPN: Henryk Mkhitaryan not to travel to Baku

Baku. 1 October. REPORT.AZ/ Footballer of England's Arsenal and Armenian national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not arrive in Baku for a match against Qarabag in the second round of the Europa League, Mattias Karen, correspondent of ESPN TV channel on Arsenal, said on his Twitter page.

Report informs that he shared the information he received: "I am informed that Henryk Mkhitaryan will not visit Azerbaijan. It's the player's  personal decision for security purposes due to the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. "

The journalist also said it’s also unknown whether the 29-year-old midfielder will play in the final match of Europe League . "If Arsenal can qualify for Euro League final, Mkhitaryan won't be able to attend that match too," he said.

Notably, the Qarabag- Arsenal match will be held on October 4 at the Baku Olympic Stadium at 20:55 Baku time.
