"The European League is a great tournament, where all teams try to win," Chelsea's defender David Luiz as saying during a press conference held at the Olympic Stadium in the Azerbaijan capital ahead of tomorrow’s European final against Arsenal.

Brazilian defender supported head coach Maurizio Sarri, whose dismissal from the team is reportedly on the agenda.

"Sarri has a big heart. Football gives you the opportunity to meet new people every day. Everything depends on us. We started the season well, then we faced some problems though. However, we eventually qualified for the two finals. We lost the League Cup final. A great game awaits us tomorrow. Our objective is to win the cup. It will be a great final. We want to write history, where everyone will talk about the winner."

David Luiz also spoke about the transfer of Chelsea’s former footballer Michael Essien to Azerbaijan's Sabail football team.

"Michael Essien is Chelsea's legend. I did not talk with him about Azerbaijan. If he has chosen Sabail, then it is better for him."

The Brazilian footballer also reminded the match they won in the Champions League group stage in Baku.

"We won Qarabag with 4:0 score. It's a lucky stadium for us. We hope that it will be the same tomorrow."

Chelsea will face other England's representative in the final to be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium on May 29.
