Czech national squad for match against Azerbaijan named

Baku. 26 September. REPORT.AZ/ The squad of the Czech national team against Azerbaijan and San Marino for the 2018 World Cup Qualifying Group matches was announced.

Report informs, head coach Karel Jarolím called 22 players to the upcoming matches.

Goalkeepers: Tomáš Koubek (Renn, France), Jiří Pavlenka (Basel, Switzerland) Tomáš Vaclík ("Verder", Germany)

Defenders: Jan Bořil ("Slavia"), Theodor Gebre Selassie ("Verder", Germany), Pavel Kadeřábek i ("Hoffenhaym", Germany), Filip Novák ("Midtyulland", Denmark), Tomas Kalas ("Fulham", England ), Marek Suchy ("Basel", Switzerland), Jakub Brabec ("Genk", Belgium), Michael Lüftner ("Copenhagen", Denmark)

Notably, Azerbaijan-Czech Republic match to be played on October 5, at Baku Olympic Stadium starts at 20:00 local time.

The opposing team will receive San Marino on October 8.
