Copenhagen head coach: We twice watched how Qarabag played against Atletico

Baku. 12 December. REPORT.AZ/ The head coach of Copenhagen FC Ståle Solbakken talked about Azerbaijan's Qarabag while commenting the upcoming match with Spanish Atletico in last 32 of UEFA Europa League.

Report informs, Norwegian specialist said the draw result will be tough for his team.

He said that Atletico is one of the strongest teams in Europe. 49-year-old coach said his team has a chance for the next stage: “We all have twice watched how Qarabag played with Atletico. That is why there is nothing impossible. But it will be quite difficult.”

Qarabag defeated Copenhagen at home with 1:0 score in the play-off of Champions League, but in Denmark the club lost to Copenhagen with 1:2. Nevertheless, the goal scored in away match qualified Azerbaijani club for the first time to the group stage. The team led by Gurban Gurbanov played in a draw in Group C with Atletico in Baku 0:0 and 1:1 in Madrid. In the end, Copenhagen was the second in the group of Euro league and as a holder of the third place in group of Champions League, Atletico qualified to compete in Europa League. The last 32 match will take place between two teams on February 15 and 22.
