Baku. 6 November. REPORT.AZ/ Former player of Moldovan Sheriff, Dionatan Teixeira died at the age of 25.

Report informs, he died in his homeland Brazil of a suspected heart attack.

Teixeira also played for Kosice, Slovan Bratislava, Banik Ruzina and Dukla Banska Bystrica and made eight appearances for Fleetwood Town during a loan spell from Stoke in 2015.

Teixeira played second half of last season for Sheriff and left for Brazil after golden double in the club. A statement on the Sheriff Tiraspol website said Teixeira had travelled to his native Brazil in the summer and had been due to return to the club. However, he didn't return to Moldova. Therefore, missed matches with Qarabag at the 3rd qualifying round of Champions League.

Notably, despite the Azerbaijani representative ended in a draw 0:0 in Baku, the club won away match 2:1.
