Best player of Azerbaijan Premier League will be transferred

Baku. 11 July. REPORT.AZ/ Sumgayit FC plans to transfer national football player of Azerbaijan Javid Imamverdiyev.

Report was told in the club, the reason is 25-year-old midfielder did not want to continue his career within Sumgayit representative.

“Imamverdiyev refused to stay in Sumgayit FC. Both local and foreign clubs are interested in him. The management assesses proposals for player who has 1 year contract with the club, " spokesman Rashad Mammadov said.

Notably, Javid Imamverdiyev transferred to Sumgayit FC from Neftchi FC last summer. According to a survey conducted by the Sports Research Center he was named the best player of Azerbaijan Premier League in 2017/2018 season.
