Başakşehir football club fines Arda Turan

Baku. 16 October. REPORT.AZ/ Turkey's Başakşehir club has fined footballer Arda Turan.

Report informs citing club’s official website that the Istanbul representative fined the 31-year-old midfielder TRY 2,500,000.

The club also said the player's professional responsibilities would continue until the court decides. The Istanbul Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit against the experienced footballer for 12.5 years imprisonment yesterday.

Notably, Arda Turan argued with singer Berkay Şahin at one of the nightclubs and broke his nose. The singer's lawyer asked the prosecutor to arrest the football player. Earlier, the singer's wife also complained to the Prosecutor's Office.
