    After Turkish derby brawl of fans occurred

    Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ/ After the match of the 9th round of Turkish Super Football League between "Fenerbahce" and "Galatasaray" clubs a bawl occurred between the fans of these football teams.

    Report informs refrerring to the Turkish media, the incident originated in the stands behind the goal of the guests.

    At the end of the game, which ended with the score 1: 1, the fans in the stands are locked in a melee. In the field of foreign objects were thrown. During the incident, a few fans were slightly injured.

    After police intervention the situation was normalized.

    Turkey's two leading football clubs, Fenerbahçe of Istanbul's Asian side and Galatasaray from the European side, met for the 381st time at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday in Fenerbahçe's Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium. The 101-year old rivalry is known as "The Intercontinental Derby" or "The Bosporus Derby."

    Both teams had collected 17 points in the first eight games of the Turkish Super League and stand at second and third positions before the match, with Galatasaray ahead of Fenerbahçe with more goals scored. After the draw in the derby, leader Beşiktaş was the actual winner in this week by taking its lead to two points.
