AFFA to declare its decision on FIFA Presidential candidates in February

Baku. 28 January. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) will declare its final decision on FIFA Presidential candidates till February 15.

Report informs, Secretary General of the federation Elkhan Mammadov said.

He said that they have communicated only with two of 5 candidates to presidential post of the football federation. They are Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and Gianni Infantino.

E.Mammadov said that they neither appealed to support other 3 candidates - Sheykh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Tokyo Sexwale and Jérôme Champagne nor got acquainted with them.

Notably, the election will be held in Switzerland's Zurich city on February 26.

FIFA's 209 football federations will attend the voting.
