AFFA Disciplinary Committee punishes coach and head coach

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA Disciplinary Committee has held its next meeting.

Report informs referring to the Professional Football League (PFL) official website, incident in the Gabala - Zira match of Azerbaijan Premier League (APL) XVI tour  was widely discussed during the meeting.

After watching video of the game, the Committee has fined Zira FC 800 AZN because its 5 players received yellow card. Head coach Ayhan Abbasov will miss 5 games for offensive statements in stadium corridor. The club was fined 4000 AZN. 3 out of 5 matches are conditional and 6 months trial period were applied. The next part of the sanction will come into effect if he violates rule during the probation period.

Gabala players Gismat Aliyev and Javid Huseynov, Zira legionaries Richard Gadze and Sadio Tounkara will miss two games due to aggressive actions, both clubs were fined 3200 AZN.

Gabala was fined 4,000 AZN for failing to provide security and public order. If the case is repeated, the club will be strictly punished.

The team coach Sanan Gurbanov will miss one match for violation of rules of the technical zone. The club fined 800 AZN.
