Volume of money supply in manat down by 46% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 2 November. REPORT.AZ/ Volume of money supply in the broad sense (M3) in Azerbaijan on October 1, 2015 amounted to 17 684 mln AZN, which is 50 mln AZN or 0.3% less than in September 1.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank, decline from the beginning of the year amounted to 3,882 mln AZN or 18%, from the same period of 2014 - 3 449 mln AZN or 16.3%.

The amount of aggregate M2 (money supply in manat) on October 1, 2015 amounted to 9 368 9 mln manats. On a monthly basis aggregate M2 fell by 176.8 mln AZN or 1.8%, since the beginning of the year - by 8 066.9 mln AZN or 46.3%. Compared with the same period of 2014 the reduction constituted 7 998.9 mln AZN or 46%.
