Central Bank's notes in circulation update historical record

Baku. 10 August. REPORT.AZ/ The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced volume of notes in circulation.

Report informs citing the CBA, the figure is currently about 500 million AZN, which is a historical record as more by 42.86% or 150 million AZN than the figure fixed seven weeks ago.

Instead, average annual yield of notes declined from 12.39% to 10.01%.

Notably, Central Bank has started notes issue from the beginning of 2007. The highest volume of notes in circulation has been recorded on June 22, 2017 (350 million AZN) and the highest profitability on April 5, 2017 (14.98%).
