The investment portfolio of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) as of July 1, 2021, amounted to $44.104 billion, which is 3.4% more than on July 1, 2020,
Currently, 68.6% of SOFAZ investments are in US dollars. This is 0.2 percentage points more than a year ago.
The euro’s share in the investment portfolio decreased by 0.4 percentage points - from 20.3% to 19.9%.
The share of the British pound sterling in the investment portfolio during the reporting period remained unchanged at 4.9%, the Australian dollar increased from 0.5% to 0.6%, the Turkish lira decreased from 0.7% to 0.6%, the Russian ruble rose from 0.6% to 0.7%, the Chinese yuan improved from 1.2% to 1.3%, the Japanese yen fell from 1.5% to 1.4%, other foreign currencies rose from 1.4 to 2%.
