US representatives have contacted Turkish financial institutions and threatened them with sanctions if they continued to service transactions with Russia, according to a source in the Turkish financial consulting industry, Report informs referring to TASS.
"It is true that a delegation from the US came. Their representatives threatened our country's banks with so-called veiled or hidden sanctions for continuing relations with the Russian side," the source said.
