UK cuts investment in Azerbaijan by about 5%

In January-September 2024, the UK made direct investments in the economy of Azerbaijan in the amount of $1.304 billion, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This is 4.6% less compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the share of UK investments in the economy of Azerbaijan in the total volume of investments amounted to 28.8%.
Over nine months, Azerbaijan made direct investments in the UK economy in the amount of $87.15 million. This is 26.4% more compared to the previous year.
During the reporting period, the share of Azerbaijan's investments in the economy of the UK in the total volume of investments amounted to 6.3%.
